Xero is an online accounting software product designed for small businesses, sole traders, accountants, and bookkeepers. It connects users to their bank, accountant, bookkeeper, and other business applications. The product includes a feature called JAX, described as an AI financial superagent, which can handle routine tasks such as creating and sending quotes and invoices through Xero, WhatsApp, SMS, and email, and can provide answers to business questions using real-time public information or by exploring the user’s financial data. Xero offers three pricing plans: Starter, suited for sole traders and new businesses; Standard, for self-employed individuals and growing businesses; and Premium, for established businesses of all sizes. All plans cover accounting essentials and allow for growth. The software is intended to help users manage finances, control cash flow, and integrate with other apps.
